Nowhere, Yosemite

Some parts of the valley felt like some sort of non-euclidean infinite space. You can look in any direction. Up, down, left, right, and you’ll see something amazing. Turn a corner, see something new and even more amazing. You really need to see it in person to understand.

I remember taking this picture through my telephoto lens. I recall looking far, far into the distance, nearly straight up. Almost like I was looking through time into some sort of fantasy world. The fog and clouds were doing a lot of favors to my photography that morning.

to me, this photo is very evocative of the Painted World of Ariandel from Dark Souls 3.
