Jonny in the Sky

In keeping with the theme of the Vegas trip, we summited a mountain and also visited a casino while in Virginia. This is the TOP of sharp top mountain. I told Jonny to go up on top of this big rock right at the peak (which is something I personally would not have done, being terrified of heights).

This is a really difficult film stock to work with if you’re going for clean looking photos, but in the right conditions, it can look fantastic. The shutter was still sticking a little bit at this point. I think it really works well in this case, completing the gradient from pure white at the top of the frame to black at the bottom.
