Half Dome

The iconic Half Dome. Possibly the most famous landmark in Yosemite valley. A bird–possibly a raven?–flew overhead just as I was about to take the shot.

This is it. The greatest picture I’ll ever take! Maybe not, but if I had to pick a favorite from the trip, it would likely be this one. Buying a telephoto zoom lens for this trip was absolutely the right call.

To the left you can see El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls toward its base which looks tiny in the distance. The foggy weather, circular polarizer filter, and extremely vibrant camera settings I was using all contribute to the crazy blue hue.
